Charleston-area Author Signs Two-Book Deal

Local author, Nicole Seitz, has signed a two-book deal with Integrity Publishers. Her first novel, THE SPIRIT OF SWEETGRASS, is set to be released in February 2007.

THE SPIRIT OF SWEETGRASS, narrated by a 78-year-old sweetgrass basket weaver, Essie Mae, is about deep Gullah roots, strong family ties, and the glorious magic of Heaven. With the help of her dead husband, Daddy Jim, Essie Mae finally discovers her calling in life and weaves powerful "love baskets" to change the lives of those who visit her roadside stand.
